- 3/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1 lb. Owens hot sausage
- 2 1/2 c. buttermilk biscuit mix
- 10 medium jalapenos
- 1 box Shake 'n Bake for pork
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Slit peppers and remove seeds.

2Stuff small amount of cheese into pepper halves.

3Mix remaining cheese with sausage.

4Knead mixture.

5Gradually add biscuit mix and continue kneading to make dough.

6Pat out small amount of dough and shape around stuffed pepper half to form egg shape.

7Roll in Shake 'n Bake, in beaten eggs, then in Shake 'n Bake again.

8Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
