- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 3 bay leaves
- 12 cardamon seeds
- water
Directions

1Wash rice in several changes of water.

2Pour on fresh water and let soak for 1/2 hour. Drain.

3Place rice, salt, turmeric, cardamon, cinnamon and bay leaves in a heavy pot.
