- 1/2 peck artichokes
- 4 green peppers
- 4 red peppers
- 8 c. sugar
- 12 medium onions
- 2 1/2 qt. vinegar
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 box dry mustard
- 3 tsp. turmeric
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Make paste of flour, mustard, salt and 1 pint vinegar.

2Heat 2 quarts vinegar, sugar and hot pepper.

3Bring to boil.

4Add flour paste.

5Chop or dice vegetables and add.

6Stir until vegetables are heated.

7Do not boil.

8Add turmeric.

9Stir.
-
10Put in jars.

11Yield: 16 to 18 pints.
