- 4 cups Asian pears, peeled, cored and chopped into chunks
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 cardamom seeds
Directions

1Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the fruit is soft but not falling apart.

2Watch, you will probably have to add a little more water once or twice during the cooking so as not to scorch the fruit.

3Don't drown them, just a couple of tbsp at a time.

4Remove Cardamom seeds and serve.
