- 1 can asparagus, drained and chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk or cream
Directions

1In large saucepan, combine asparagus, onions, broth, water, butter and lemon pepper seasoning.

2Cook over medium heat until onions are tender.

3This will probably take about 10 minutes. Combine flour and 1/4 c. milk.

4Whisk until smooth.

5Stir into soup.

6Add remaining milk or cream.

7Simmer for about 5 minutes. Process in blender or food processor until smooth.

8Makes about 4 servings.
