- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. grated onion
Directions

1Make white sauce of all ingredients, except asparagus and eggs.

2Alternate in casserole layers of asparagus, sliced eggs and white sauce.

3Top with sauce.

4Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake in a 400° oven until brown.
