  • 1/2 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 (No. 2) can asparagus
  • 4 Tbsp. oleo
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 (5 oz.) glass jar Old English cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

    Combine cracker crumbs and oleo.

    Place 3/4 crumbs in bottom of dish.

    Place asparagus on top of crumbs.

    Make cheese sauce using last 4 ingredients.

    Pour over asparagus.

    Top with rest of cracker crumbs.

    Sprinkle on almonds.

    Bake 12 minutes in 450° oven.
