- 1 (No. 2) can asparagus, drained (reserve liquid)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 12 saltine crackers, crumbled
- 1/2 stick butter
Directions

1In a casserole dish, place half of the asparagus in bottom of dish.

2Layer half of chestnuts and half of crumbs.

3Dot with half of butter.

4Pour half of soup, thinned with liquid from asparagus. Repeat layers, ending with crumbs on top.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
