Asparagus Lasagne

  • 6 lasagne noodles (2 inches wide)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c. cooked chicken or ham
  • 1 (15 oz.) long asparagus spears, drained

Directions

    Cook noodles as shown on package.

    Drain and cut in half, crosswise.

    In pan cook other ingredients, stirring until thickened.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    In buttered Pyrex dish layer 1/3 noodles, sauce, cheese and chicken.

    Repeat layers twice. Bake in oven until cheese is well melted.
