- 1 pkt (8-ounce) frzn asparagus
- 1 c. Cubed ham, cooked
- 1 c. Half and half
- 1 can (4-ounce) mushrooms, liquid removed
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/3 c. Minced onions (optional)
- 1 x Unbaked, 9-inch pie crust
Directions

1Cook asparagus and drain well.

2Combine Half and Half, onions, mushrooms and salt in saucepan.

3Simmer 1 minute.

4Add in a small amount of the warm mix to the Large eggs and blend well.

5Add in to mix in the pan, stirring to blend.

6Arrange liquid removed asparagus and ham in the crust.

7Pour warm mix over.

8Pepper and nut- meg may be sprinkled lightly over the surface.

9Bake at 400 for 15 min; reduce heat to 325 and bake 20-25 min longer or possibly till a knife blade inserted in pie center comes out clean.
