Asparagus Roll-Ups

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • white bread, decrusted (approximately 1 1/2 loaves)
  • 3 oz. Blue cheese
  • 1 can Green Giant asparagus
  • 1/2 to 1 lb. butter or margarine

Directions

    Blend cheeses and egg; spread on bread.

    Place an asparagus on end of bread slice and roll up.

    Dip in melted butter; place on cookie sheet and freeze.

    When frozen, cut into 4 or 5 pieces and store in plastic bag in freezer.

    (Use metal spatula to remove each roll from cookie sheet; cut on bread board.)

    When desired, bake undefrosted at 400° for 10 minutes, until browned.
