Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh/frozen shrimp
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 3 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. Ouzo or 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp. fennel seed, crushed
- 1/2 c. crumbled Feta cheese
Directions

1Thaw shrimp if frozen, peel and devein.

2In a large saucepan, cook onion, parsley and garlic in 2 tablespoons of butter until onion is tender.

3Stir in undrained tomatoes, oregano and pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.

4Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Stir in water or Ouzo and fennel.

5Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
