  • 2-3 country style ribs per person, or, 1 slab for 2 people
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 stalk celery, leaves cut fine
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Directions

    Dip ribs in flour and brown in small amount of oil.

    Place ribs in sauce made with remaining ingredients.

    Spoon sauce over ribs to make sure they are covered.

    Cover pan and simmer at 220° for 1 1/2 hours or more.

    Turn ribs once or twice.

    Add water as needed, in small amounts.
