- 1 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
- 4 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
Directions

1Measure cereal and peanut butter in a large bowl.

2Measure syrup and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a full boil; immediately remove from heat.

3Pour over peanut butter and cereal; mix fast and well.

4(Pour directly on peanut butter to soften it for mixing.)

5Press into buttered 9 1/2 x 13-inch pan.

6Let cool. Melt chips in double boiler; spread as icing over mixture.

7Let icing cool, then cut into bars.

8Freezes well.
