- 8 slices bacon
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted

1Cook bacon until almost done, but not crisp.

2Cut bacon slices in half crosswise.

3Pat beef into a 12 x 6-inch rectangle; cut into 8 squares.

4Combine lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.

5Brush over patties.

6Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

7Arrange in a greased wire grill basket.

8Place 2 half slices of bacon crisscross on top of each burger.

10Grill burgers over medium-hot coals until desired cooking time, turning often.
