  • 10 slices buttered white bread, cubed
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled*

Directions

    Put bread into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Toss and cover in cheese.

    Mix milk, eggs, mustard and salt, then pour over cheese.

    Top with bacon and refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 350° until brown.
