Bacon Cheese Bake

  • 7 bread slices, cubed
  • 1/2 pkg. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 onion, chopped

Directions

    Layer cubed bread in buttered 9 x 13 pan. Cover bread with bacon. Beat eggs, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over layers. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Drizzle margarine over cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
