- 1 package pitted dates
- 7 ounces bacon thinly sliced and cut in half
- brown sugar to taste
Directions

1Place brown sugar in a small dish.

2Line a baking tray with nonstick mat, or parchment paper.

3Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

4Cut the bacon slices in a half. Half a slice of bacon wraps a date perfectly.

5Roll the dates in slices of bacon.

6Dredge the rolls in sugar.

7This will help caramelize, and get a nicer color.

8Bake about 15 to 20 minutes.

9Serve hot, or cold.
