- 1/4 lb. bacon
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 6 Tbsp. vinegar
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Fry bacon; drain fat.

2Add water and bring to a boil.

3While bacon is frying, beat eggs well.

4Add cornstarch, vinegar and sugar.

5Mix egg mixture well.

6Slowly add egg mixture to boiling liquid.

7Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.

8Pour over cleaned lettuce.

9Serve warm.

10Garnish with hard-boiled egg slices, if desired.
