- 8 slice bacon
- 10 button mushrooms; medium-thick slices
- 2 clove garlic; minced
- 1 tsp thyme; minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 1 vegetable oil; as needed
Directions

1Place bacon on a sheet tray and bake at 350 for approximately 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy and has rendered it's fat.

2Remove bacon from tray and set aside.

3Pour bacon fat into a large saute pan.

4Add mushrooms.

5Season.

6Saute on high heat for one minute to get a sear.

7Turn heat down to medium.

8Add garlic.

9Saute until garlic is fragrant and mushrooms have caramelized.

10Add oil only if necessary.
