- 6 slices bacon
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons oil

1Grease 12 muffin cups.

2Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

3Cook bacon in a pan until crisp, then chop into small pieces.

4Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

5In a seperate bowl mix egg, milk, and oil.

6Add all at once to the dry ingredients along with bacon until just combined.

7Mixture will look somewhat lumpy but do not mix more.

8Fill the muffin cups 2/3rds of the way full.

9Bake@ 25 minutes.
