  • 3 slices bacon, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion (1 medium)
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice, drained (reserve juice)
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 6 c. shredded cabbage
