Bacon Water Chestnuts

  • 1 lb. bacon, cut in half
  • 1 or 2 cans whole water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. catsup

Directions

    Wrap each chestnut with a 1/2 slice bacon.

    Secure with a toothpick.

    Put in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake uncovered for 1/2 hour at 350°.

    Drain grease off.

    Mix sugar and catsup.

    Pour over bacon and cover with foil.

    Bake another half hour or so.

    Serve hot.
