  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. bacon, cut in half crosswise
  • 1 (8 oz.) can whole water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. chili sauce

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Cook bacon in large skillet on medium heat until almost crisp; drain.

    Wrap bacon around water chestnuts; secure with toothpicks.

    Place in baking dish.

    Mix remaining ingredients; pour over water chestnuts.
