- 2 cans water chestnuts, drained
- soy sauce
- sugar
- bacon, sliced in half or thirds
Directions

1Place water chestnuts in shallow bowl and cover with soy sauce.

2Marinate for 2 to 24 hours.

3Roll chestnuts in sugar and wrap with bacon securing with toothpick.

4Place on cookie sheet that has been lined with foil.

5Bake in a 400° oven for 20 minutes, turning once.

6Drain on paper towels.

7Place on micro-safe platter.

8When ready to serve, reheat in microwave until hot.
