- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 (5 oz.) cans water chestnuts, drained
- 10 slices bacon, cut in half, crosswise
Directions

1Combine soy sauce and sugar.

2Marinate chestnuts in mixture for 30 minutes.

3Wrap bacon slice around each chestnuts, fasten with a wooden pick.

4Place on a rack in a shallow baking pan or broiler.

5Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes until bacon is crisp. Serve hot.

6Makes 20 appetizers.
