  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 (5 oz.) cans water chestnuts, drained
  • 10 slices bacon, cut in half, crosswise

Directions

    Combine soy sauce and sugar.

    Marinate chestnuts in mixture for 30 minutes.

    Wrap bacon slice around each chestnuts, fasten with a wooden pick.

    Place on a rack in a shallow baking pan or broiler.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes until bacon is crisp. Serve hot.
