  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 6 oz fresh mushrooms
  • 2 green onions
  • 4 tblsp butter
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
  • 4 oz package proscuitto
  • 14.5 oz canned, diced tomatoes
  • 4 oz shredded Asiago cheese

Directions

    Slice bread and bake per instructions until toasted.

    Dice mushrooms and green onions.
  3. 3
    Saute mushrooms and onions in butter until mushrooms are dark and onions are translucent/tender.

    Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder while sauteeing.

    Tear or dice prosciutto into small pieces and put into mushroom/onion mixture, sauteeing until prosciutto turns gray and appears cooked.

    Drain canned tomatoes, and stir into sautee mixture above.

    Return to heat and sautee for a few minutes until tomatoes are heated thru.

    Spread mixture over each piece of bread above.

    Top with shredded Asiago cheese.

    Return to 350 degree oven until cheese is lightly melted.
