Baked Acorn Squash

- acorn squash
- melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. sherry wine
Directions

1Wash and cut squash in half lengthwise.

2Scrape out seeds. Brush cut surfaces and cavity with melted butter.

3Place close together, cut side down, on baking sheet.

4Bake at 350° until almost tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.

5Turn cut side up and brush again with butter.

6Sprinkle cavity with sugar and salt.
-
7Add a few drops of sherry.

8Bake 10 to 15 minutes more, until surface is glazed.
