  • 5 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • 1/4 cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 3 Tablespoons Rolled Oats
  • 4 Tablespoons Chopped Nuts (Walnut And Pecan Mixture)
  • 8 whole Apples (Granny Smith Or Macintosh)

    Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

    Line a 9x9 baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray.

    Cut butter into small chunks-it makes it easier to mix.

    Mix brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, oats and chopped nuts in a small bowl until combined. Add in butter, mix until crumbly.

    Core each apple, leaving the skin on. Just remove the hard core and seeds. Stuff each apple with equal amounts of stuffing. Arrange the apples in the baking dish so they are close together, but not crowded.

    Baking dish should be placed on the middle rack. Bake apples for 40-45 minutes. They should be visibly softened and the stuffing should looked melted.
