  • cinnamon red hot candies
  • brown sugar
  • 7 oz. bottle ginger ale

    Core apples and peel 1/3 of the way down.

    Arrange in baking dish.

    Fill cavities with cinnamon candies and top with generous sprinkling of brown sugar.

    Pour the ginger ale into the dish.

    Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes, basting apples with liquid from time to time.
