Baked Bean Soup

  • 2 c. cold baked beans
  • 2 medium onions, minced
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 1 qt. cold water
  • 2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. cooked macaroni
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Simmer beans, onions and garlic in water for 30 minutes.

    Heat tomatoes and add to beans.

    Blend flour, butter and salt and pepper into soup mix until it makes a thin paste.

    Add macaroni. Serve piping hot.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
