Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp; drain, crumble and set aside.

    Saute onion in 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings.

    Stir in brown sugar and vinegar; simmer 5 minutes.

    Combine onion mixture with beans. Cook in crock-pot for 8 hours on low or bake in 300° oven for 3 hours.

    Top with bacon.
