- 1 1/2 lb. dry navy beans (3 1/2 c.)
- 1 lb. smoked ham or ham hocks or 1/2 lb. salt pork
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Soften beans; soak in water overnight.

2Simmer 1 hour.

3Put beans in crock-pot and add all remaining ingredients along with the water.

4Cook on low 10 to 12 hours or high 4 to 5 hours.
