- 1/2 lb. bacon, cubed
- 1/2 lb. smoked sausage, cubed
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes or 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. regular sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 large can baked beans, rinsed
Directions

1In a large skillet fry the bacon and sausage until brown.

2Add the onions and bell pepper.

3Cook 5 minutes. Combine the chili powder, cumin and red pepper flakes or Tabasco sauce and add to ingredients. Cook 5 minutes. Combine the brown sugar, regular sugar and cider vinegar.

4Cook 5 minutes. Add the beans and cook 15 minutes.
