  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1/4 c minced onion
  • 1/3 c barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 c tomato catsup
  • 1/4 c Realemon, not fresh lemon
  • 1/4 c syrup
  • 1/4 t Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3-16 oz cans pork and beans

Directions

    Cut bacon up into small bits and cook until they are crisp and light brown.

    Then mix in onion and cook until light brown. When finished, set aside.

    Mix barbecue sauce, brown sugar, catsup, Realemon, syrup and Worcestershire sauce until brown sugar is dissolved.

    Add mixture of bacon and onions, mixing well.

    Fold in beans, blending well.

    Pour into casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

    Serves 8 - 10.
