  • 3 (16 oz.) cans Van Camp pork and beans
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lg. green pepper
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 2 c. Heinz ketchup
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. steak sauce

Directions

    Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper.

    Drain and add meat to 3 cans of beans.

    Mix 2 cups ketchup and brown sugar together.

    In oblong pan put bean mixture and top with sauce and brown sugar mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Stir mixture and then bake 30 minutes more.
