Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage, cut into 8 wedges
- 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. finely chopped green onions
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 Tbsp. chili sauce
Directions

1Cook cabbage wedges in a heavy saucepan in a small amount of boiling, salted water for 10 minutes or until tender; drain. Arrange in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Saute green peppers and onions in butter in saucepan until tender.

3Blend in flour, salt and pepper.

4Add milk.

5Cook until mixture is thick and bubbly, stirring constantly.

6Pour over the cabbage.

7Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

8Combine mayonnaise, cheese and chili sauce in a bowl; mix well.

9Spoon over wedges.

10Bake for 5 minutes longer.
