- 1 head cabbage
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. hot milk
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Butter a 12 x 8-inch dish.

3Discard outer leaves from cabbage.

4Cut into 12 wedges.

5Put wedges into a kettle; cover with water and 1 teaspoon salt.

6Boil until leaves pull away from head.

7Drain leaves well.

8Arrange cabbage in prepared baking dish.

9Sprinkle with mixture of sugar, salt, pepper and cheese.

10Dot with butter or oleo.

11Pour hot milk over ingredients.

12Bake 30 minutes.
