  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. melted shortening
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Sift together all dry ingredients including sugar.

    Add milk, melted shortening and well beaten eggs.
  3. 3
    Mix well; pour in a greased mold, cover and bake near center of oven until dinner is done.

    Serve hot with Chocolate Sauce.

    This pudding may be steamed, if desired.
