- 1 2/3 c. milk, scalded
- 3 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- dash of nutmeg
Directions

1Scald milk in glass measuring cup for 3 to 4 minutes on High or until tiny bubbles appear around the edges.

2Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar, salt and vanilla.

3Slowly add milk.

4Divide into 5 glass custard cups or coffee cups.

5Place custard dishes in a circle on the outer edge, rotating if necessary.

6Heat in microwave, uncovered, on Medium for 5 to 5 1/2 minutes or until custard just begins to boil.

7Center will become firm during standing time. Chill several hours before serving.
