Baked "Fried" Chicken

  • 4 to 6 chicken breasts
  • 1 pkg. long saltine crackers
  • 1 stick margarine
  • garlic salt (optional)

Directions

    Skin chicken breasts. Melt margarine; set aside. Crush crackers. Roll chicken breasts in melted margarine, then in cracker crumbs. Place the chicken breasts in a casserole dish and sprinkle with garlic salt, if desired. Bake at 350° to 375° for about an hour. If breasts are large, it may take a little longer than an hour.
