  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 1 c. cold cooked grits
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pinch of black pepper

Directions

    Heat milk; add butter and grits.

    Stir until smooth, then add remaining ingredients.

    Pour into buttered baking dish and cook at 350° for 1 hour.
