Ingredients

  • 1 (40 oz.) can lima beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can lima beans
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cut into thirds
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1 rounded tsp. ginger
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except beans and bacon, mixing well until sugar is dissolved.

    Gently stir in beans (with juice) and place in oblong baking dish.

    Layer bacon across top.

    Bake at 300° for 45 minutes.

    Remove from oven; turn bacon slices and spoon off grease.

    Return to oven and bake 45 minutes longer.
