Baked Peaches

Ingredients

  • 4 medium or 2 large ripe peaches
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract

Directions

    Cut peaches in half; remove pits.

    Place, cut side up, on heavy-duty aluminum foil large enough to be folded and sealed.

    In bowl, combine sour cream, brown sugar, spices and vanilla.

    Top peach halves with mixture.

    Bring together sides of foil, sealing all edges well to make an airtight packet.

    Place packet of peaches over coals of a grill or in a preheated 375° oven; bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until peaches are soft and sugar in topping has melted.

    Open foil packet; let peaches cool slightly.

    Serve warm.
