- butter
- dark brown sugar
- pear syrup
- dry white wine
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 6 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
- 1/3 c. dry sherry
Directions

1In shallow baking dish, buttered, arrange pear halves, cut sides up.

2Dot the pears with butter.

3Sprinkle them with dark brown sugar and pour in a mixture of half the pear syrup and an equal amount of wine.

4Bake the pears in hot oven (400°) until they are light brown in color.
