  • 1/4 stick melted butter or margarine
  • 1 can consomme
  • 1 c. regular rice
  • 1 c. onion soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (optional)

Directions

    In a 2-quart casserole use melted butter to coat sides of dish or use Pam to reduce calorie content.

    Mix remaining ingredients in dish, bake covered at 350° for 1 hour.

    Serves 6 to 8.
