- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. long grain rice
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 3 beaten eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- ground nutmeg or cinnamon
- light cream or milk
Directions

1In a heavy medium saucepan, bring 2 cups milk, uncooked rice and raisins to boiling; reduce heat.

2Cover and cook over very low heat about 15 minutes or until rice is done.

3Remove from heat; stir in butter or oleo until melted.

4In a mixing bowl, stir together the eggs, the 2 cups of milk, sugar, vanilla and salt.
