Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti, cooked until just tender
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 (10 oz.) cans tomato soup
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 2 soup cans water
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 medium bay leaf
Directions

1Brown beef in oil.

2Add onions, basil, thyme and garlic.

3Cook until tender.

4Stir in soup, tomato paste, water, 1/4 cup cheese, salt, pepper and bay leaf.

5Cook over low heat 15 minutes.

6Remove bay leaf.

7Combine with spaghetti.

8Pour into 2-quart 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.

9Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

10Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until hot.

11Stir before serving.
