Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 lg. can diced Italian tomatoes
  • 1 sm. c. tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano (or to taste)
  • 1 - 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt, or to taste
  • other spices, as desired
  • 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, more if desired
  • 1 sm. box spaghetti noodles

Directions

    Saute beef, onion, green pepper.

    Drain off fat.

    Add other ingredients and cook until well done.

    Add additional seasonings, as preferred.

    Cook noodles and drain well.

    Mix noodles and spaghetti sauce together.

    Stir well.

    Pour into a glass baking dish (large).

    Top with cheese.

    Bake in moderate oven, 350°, until cheese browns slightly.
