- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
- 12 oz. spaghetti
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In skillet, brown and drain the beef, onion and green pepper. Add tomatoes (chop slightly in blender), mushrooms, oregano, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

2Cook spaghetti noodles and drain.

3Place half of the noodles in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Top with half the ground beef mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded Cheddar. Repeat layers.

4Mix can of cream of mushroom soup with 1/4 cup water until smooth.

5Pour over casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through.
